I try to keep diary about my beagles. *Ressu (Daragoj Second to None) is my youngest dog and it has came to live with us in nowember 2008. It is born in April 2007. *Lenni (Daragoj Lenier) is the dog of my life, our first agility dog. Lenni is born in March 2001. I started competing with him at 2003. It has teached me quite a lot about agility and still is. I am getting there slowly. Many mistakes will come and we try to learn more from them.

Learning agility (Guide: How to trick your handler!)

Tip 1

Do not stay sitting on start line. Handler will start reinforcing your staying on the start and you get lot of treats.

Tip 2
Pretend that obstacle is too spooky to do. This starts also reinforcing and you get lot of treats. Pst... you get caught if you do the obstacle by yourself while handlers is getting treats from pocket.

Tip 3
Do contact obstacles by jumping middle of the obstacle. Instead of one treat you get two treats.

Tip 4
Jump down from the seesaw before the middle Instead of two treat you have three.

Tip 5
Go around obstacles. Once again they start to reinforcing and you get more treats.

My problem is that moms coach spotted these and I really have to do something before those treats. Lenni was also as tourist in my coaching and our coach told that you can see how he loves the sport. And it is bity that he can't compete in official competions anymore. But there is lot of unofficials where to go. :) She also thinks that I have great potential after they have tackled my brains and hapid to trick people. They speak that I have to find the motivation to do more than one obstacle at time. Hmh... where the FUN is if you have to do lot before the treat?
